A Mini Journey Towards Union

This 10 hours focuses on the Journey Towards Union and the intersections of Christianity and yoga. It is a beautiful exploration of many intersections and parallels, designed to understand yoga as a spiritual practice within other worldviews with a focus on the Christian Yoga practitioner’s journey toward the heart of God. You’ll discover the traditional yoga practitioner toward the 8th Limb of Samadhi while exploring each limb of the 8-Limb path of Patanjali found in The Yoga Sutras. In comparison and contrast you’ll examine the 7 Mansions described in St. Teresa of Avila’s Interior Castle with God at the center of your soul. This course also acts as a bridge to yoga alliance if you have a current 200 hour R-YFT certification.

This 10 hour Module can be a stand alone mini course into a deeper understanding of the intersection of ancient pathways of Christianity, yoga and spiritual disciplines. It is also great for personal development or continued education hours as a smaller, bite-size course, “Come, taste and see!”
